Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Description:

  • Provides a solid understanding of Lean Six Sigma philosophy, including how Lean (waste reduction) and Six Sigma (variation reduction) combine to improve efficiency and quality.

  • Teaches the DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), which is the structured problem-solving framework used in Six Sigma.

  • Develops statistical and analytical skills for process measurement, root-cause analysis, hypothesis testing, and capability analysis.

  • Covers Lean tools for identifying and eliminating waste, improving flow, and enhancing the value stream.

  • Prepares participants to drive real improvement projects and sustain gains through control mechanisms like statistical process control (SPC).

  • Emphasizes practical application: participants typically work on a real or simulated process improvement project as part of the training.

  • Trains change-management skills: Green Belts often lead teams, influence stakeholders, and help implement continuous improvement in their organizations.
