Incident Command Structure (ICS) 300
Description:
The ICS 300 (Intermediate Incident Command System) course provides participants with an in-depth understanding of the Incident Command System used for managing expanding or complex incidents. Building on the foundations of ICS-100 and ICS-200, this course focuses on advanced incident management principles, unified command applications, and multi-agency coordination during large-scale emergencies.
Participants learn how to apply ICS concepts in real-world scenarios involving multiple operational periods, multiple resources, and coordination between various agencies, departments, and jurisdictions. Through practical group activities, scenario-based exercises, and planning workshops, learners gain the skills needed to function effectively as part of an Incident Management Team (IMT).
