Pressure Transient Analysis using SAPHIR Software
Description:
This course provides participants with hands-on experience in well test analysis using SAPHIR software, equipping them with modern techniques for interpreting pressure transient data. Attendees will learn to analyze various well tests, including flow tests, buildup tests, multi-rate tests, interference tests, and pulse tests. The course will cover advanced interpretations of complex reservoir conditions, such as multiphase flow, hydraulically fractured wells, naturally fractured reservoirs, slanted wells, and horizontal wells.
Through practical applications, participants will gain expertise in identifying flow regimes, assessing wellbore and near-wellbore effects, estimating drainage area pressure, and designing well tests to optimize reservoir characterization. The course will also introduce analytical and numerical modeling techniques using SAPHIR software to enhance decision-making in reservoir evaluation.
