The IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control (WIPC) course is designed for personnel involved in well intervention, completion, wireline, coiled tubing, and snubbing operations. The program develops the knowledge and practical decision-making skills required to maintain well integrity, manage pressure-control equipment, and safely respond to abnormal well conditions during intervention activities. It prepares candidates for IWCF certification at Levels 2, 3, and 4, depending on their operational role and responsibilities.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of well integrity assurance, barrier management, pressure control principles, completion equipment, influx detection and control, well shut-in procedures, and well intervention methods. The course emphasizes industry best practices for preventing well control incidents, protecting personnel and assets, and maintaining safe and efficient operations throughout the well lifecycle.
