The course begins with an overview of water-based drilling fluids, focusing on their composition, properties, and the introduction to non-aqueous drilling fluids. Participants will learn to compare the characteristics and performance of both water-based and non-aqueous systems. Day 2 shifts focus to the analysis and reporting of drilling fluids, teaching participants how to interpret drilling fluid reports, including API water-base mud and non-aqueous fluid reports, along with case studies for practical learning.
