Description:
Design of CP system is very crucial for an effective and efficient working of CP in the corrosion protection of assets. Economics of corrosion control depends upon economic design and future life expectancy of the asset. The important aspects in design are starting from initial data required for design such as soil resistivity, soil chemical analysis, current requirement based on coating condition and soil resistivity, route survey with probability of stray current interference, design calculations with material specifications, installation, testing, commissioning and finally post commissioning surveys. These three days training on CP design will cover all aspects of CP design with examples of CP design for transmission pipelines, offshore structures, storage tank bottoms and underground bullets and other assets.
